Drug use review demonstration projects were evaluated under a subcontract from Abt Associates, Inc.; the Penn State team was responsible for the design of a consistent DUR screener and utilization analysis. It also assisted in the development of protocols, draft and final evaluation plans, data files, instruments and sampling designs for primary data collection, writing of reports and manuals, and technical assistance plans, among other activities.
