This comprehensive analysis of long-term care services in Pennsylvania, focusing on rural populations, resulted in two resources for two audiences. For consumers, this was a service guide on the continuum of long-term services available in their area. For policy-makers, this was a guide to long-term care and its future in Pennsylvania, with information on service demand and supply in different areas, costs, barriers to service delivery, and policy recommendations. Secondary data from state and federal organizations and a primary comprehensive survey of long-term care providers in Pennsylvania informed the study.
