CHCPR and Gerontology Center Co-Sponsor Speaker Series on Longitudinal Data and Analysis Techniques

The Gerontology Center and the Center for Health Care and Policy Research are co-sponsoring a 2005-2006 speaker series focusing on the mechanics and uses of latent growth curve models in longitudinal health research.
Dr. Steven D. Cohen of AHRQ will kick off the series in September with a discussion of the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey. The series, which features speakers in the regular Gerontology Center Colloquium and the Health Services Research series will continue in October with Dr. Scott Hofer. Dr. Hofer will provide an introduction to latent growth curve modeling. Examples of its applications for longitudinal health policy research by Dr. Melissa Hardy and Dr. Lesa Hoffman will complete a three week series in October and November.
