Interested Students
Students for whom the course will be particularly relevant include graduate students and post-doctoral students at Penn State and other universities who wish to explore the possibility of a research career in biogerontology and are interested in mechanisms of aging and disease. Gerontologists who wish to use mammalian animal models for gaining new insights into their particular areas of research may be especially interested in the program. The course will be taught at the level of graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and other professionals from diverse backgrounds. Individual research projects will be designed and tailored to student goals for those who register for Mammalian Models in Biogerontology (BBH 597A).
