Committees and Updates
The HPA-APG has 4 committees associated with the Board, each with a chairperson.
Mentoring
Chair: Tom Harlow
Assist in recruitment of alumni mentors; and works to sponsor career activities for students.
Awards/Nominations
Chair: Doug Callenberger
Nominate a minimum of one candidate for an award sponsored by the HHD Alumni Society; and evaluate the establishment of an APG awards program.
Communications
Chair: Steve Wagman
Work in concert with the affiliated academic unit to develop and distribute a newsletter and/or other communication to be distributed to all alumni (either online, via email, and/or via mail); as well as update the APG Web site.
Social/Professional Activities
Chair: Alison Rice
Sponsor or co-sponsor at least one event per year (e.g., a reception at a professional meeting, a basketball weekend, or a local HPA Alumni event).
