The purpose of the Human Development and Family Studies Affiliate Program Group (HPFS-APG) is to unite HDFS alumni through serving the needs of HDFS alumni, faculty, and students; advocating, promoting, and supporting professional development; and helping faculty and staff improve the quality and viability of the HDFS program.
In order to expand the role of the HDFS-APG, building an effective web site will make a huge difference in increasing alumni participation. We hope you'll find the information you need on this site useful and in line with the type of services the HDFS-APG can provide. We look forward to expanding the HDFS-APG over the next few years and reconnecting the thousands of alumni that have graduated with an education from HDFS. In addition we hope to develop a network of alumni to participate in assisting in the education of current undergraduate and graduate students by providing career mentorship, intellectual capital, and possible internship experiences.
