Penn State's Athletic Training Student Club recently donated $2,270 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Penn State Athletic Training Club is hosting its 1st Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, April 26, 2009. The tournament will begin at 10 a.m. at the Penn State Blue Course and will be followed by an auction and luncheon. Funds raised through sponsorships and the auction items will support the Athletic Training Endowment Fund and professional opportunities for the undergraduates such as attendance at the National Athletic Training Association convention, the Eastern Athletic Training Association conference and the Pennsylvania Athletic Training Symposium. As the tournament takes place on Blue/White weekend, alumni can enjoy activities on campus throughout the weekend. The tournament is an opportunity for Athletic Training alumni to reconnect with each other and to provide students with a networking and mentoring opportunity.
