Center Activities

The Center for Childhood Obesity Prevention will conduct research that evaluates prevention and intervention approaches targeting the early years of child development. The research and outreach plan includes projects aimed at:

• Improving diet quality in expectant parents
  
• Promoting breastfeeding
  
• Teaching parents about how to introduce solid foods to children
  
• Promoting self-regulation of appetite in infants and children
  
• Increasing physical activity in all family members
