- Research Interests: My research interests include HIV prevention by examining sexual decision-making among women, particularly young African American women as well as women aged 50 and older. I am also interested in the role of appropriate cultural components - in terms of beliefs, norms, attitudes, expectations, etc. - into health communication and public health interventions.
