Our Center is nationally recognized center of excellence in the training, promotion and conduct of novel interdisciplinary research and scholarship in the area of human development (social, psychological, health) and families in diverse (ethnic/racial, cultural, socioeconomic) populations. The Center fosters collaborative research with departments, centers, colleges, universities and institutions around the nation who are committed to interdisciplinary research on diverse populations. By providing administrative structure, scientific leadership and energy, we are able to facilitate and mobilize the intellectual talents needed to promote excellence in interdisciplinary training, research and scholarship that is socially relevant and responsive to the current and future needs of diverse populations in a pluralistic society. |
