The Basics

The Basics program features basic cooking techniques, such as mise en place, knife handling, how to make stock and soup, how to make sauces, safe food temperatures, how to choose a fruits and vegetables, meat cooking tips, how to bake bread, egg handling and how to make pizza.

Taste workshops introduce the children to a wide variety of foods, including greens, whole grains, beans, healthy fats and milk and non dairy alternatives. Read more about The Basics.
