Fees and Registration
The fee is $265 and covers instruction, materials, lunch, breaks, and activities. The fee may be paid by check, money order, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or VISA. Scholarship applications for “The Basics” camp are indicated on the registration form and must be received by April 15, 2014.
Scholarships are available due to partial funding from the PENNSYLVANIA NUTRITION EDUCATION TRACKS, a part of USDA's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This program provides nutrition assistance to people with low income. It can help you buy nutritious foods for a better diet. To find out more about PENNSYLVANIA NUTRITION EDUCATION TRACKS, contact the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare's toll-free helpline at 800-692-7462. Interested participants are encouraged to register early, as the program is limited to how many children can be accommodated in the Foods Lab kitchen. All registrations must be received by 5:00 p.m. EST on June 13, 2014. After this date, please email the Lisa Clapper at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you register online, you will receive an email confirmation. If you register by phone, you will receive a confirmation via postal mail.
NOTE: Due to current construction surrounding Henderson Building, where the camp will take place, you will receive detailed instructions on where to park to drop off your child two weeks prior to the start of camp.
If your request to withdraw is received at least fifteen business days prior to the first day of the program, you will receive a partial refund. Send your written request by e-mail to email@example.com. A $50 administrative fee will be charged for each withdrawal.
For legal reasons, the University cannot release the names or phone numbers of other participants, not even to those who want to carpool.
