Toddler Cindy , not too young to start exercising!!

Cynthia (Cindy) Stifter graduated with a PhD in Human Development from the University of Maryland. She also earned a MSW degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and Community Planning in Baltimore. Dr. Stifter is a Professor of Human Development. She has served on several editorial boards and federal review panels. Currently, Dr.Stifter is on the editorial board of Infancy and Child Development. When Cindy is not busy doing research with children you can usually catch her outdoors, running, biking or swimming. She is trying hard to improve her golf game so that she can start keeping score!

Research Interests: Developmental psychophysiology; the antecedents and correlates of infant colic; reactivity and regulation in infancy; and the development of early behavior problems.

Teaching Interests: Infant and child development; socio-emotional development; and temperament.
