Discrimination or Harassment
The Affirmative Action Office is responsible for investigating and resolving complaints of discrimination or harassment on the basis of age, ancestry, color, disability or handicap, national origin, race, religious creed, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
Students who feel that they have been discriminated against or harassed are encouraged to contact any of the following:

Diversity Advocate/Counselor

Support Networks
The Zero Tolerance for Hate Penn State Support Network provides students with a network of students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members who are committed to assisting students who have experienced discrimination or other acts of intolerance. Interested students may join the network here: http://www.equity.psu.edu/Zero/join.asp. Students who would like to contact a support network member can find a list of current network members here: http://www.equity.psu.edu/Zero/members.asp. The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Support Network provides students with a network of individuals within the University who are supportive of LGBT issues and can direct students to resources on LGBT issues. Interested students may join the network here http://www.sa.psu.edu/lgbt/supportnetworkapp.cfm , even if they do not identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender.
