Research/Academic Interests
I’m very interested in the relationship between physicians and administrators and other clinical/non-clinical relationships.
Prior Education
I am a Penn State integrated B.S./M.H.A. student, so I’ve been in the HPA major for the past three years. I’ve gotten an excellent overview of health care and administration through this program and will still be working through my undergraduate degree over the next two years.
Employment History
I spent the summer as an intern at Delaware Neurosurgical Group, a practice of 7 neurosurgeons. The organization was going through a merger while I was there, so I had the chance to participate in the credentialing process and witness the adaptation of employees to new rules and regulations. My other main project was creating and implementing policies/procedures for the Red Flags Rule.
Interests/Facts about Hometown
I am from Reading, Pennsylvania, located about an hour outside of Philadelphia. It is mainly known for the Reading Railroad, the Reading outlets, and the Reading Phillies.
