The Vision of the MHA program is to create a community of dedicated professionals who, through lifelong learning, commit themselves to the improvement of quality, affordability and access to health care services.
Mission
The Mission of the MHA Program is to prepare new and early careerists by educating them about the management, organization, financing, delivery and performance of the health care system. We will prepare students through traditional classroom instruction and practical field experiences so that they may become effective managers and leaders in the health services organizations.
Values
We value the enrichment that both practitioner knowledge and faculty research bring to the learning experience for students; we value the development of student knowledge, skills and attitudes in ethical leadership, critical thought, and oral and written communications; we value to the learning obtained through experiences in and with the professional community, enhancing the student experience through the vibrant synergy between the academy, our alumni and the industry.
