Application for MS or PhD Program in HPA

Thank you for your interest in Penn State’s MS/PhD program! Welcome to the Application for Admission. This is supplemental to the application you are required to submit to the Graduate School at Penn State. There are multiple pages to this application. Be sure you complete all sections indicated.

Things you will need before you begin

Having the items listed below ready for use will make this process a bit easier. Those items are:

  1. Standardized testing scores (if you’ve already taken the exam)
    1. GRE
    2. TOEFL (if applicable)
  2. GPA
    1. Jr / Sr years combined
    2. Cumulative
    3. Major
  3. Personal Statement
  4. Resume
  5. References’ names and contact information

* These should be the same as listed on your Penn State Graduate School application. Please note there is a MS/PhD Recommendation Report (.pdf file) that references are required to submit in addition to the letter.
