HPA prepares students for management and policy positions in many settings, including hospitals and health systems, nursing homes, health maintenance organizations, health insurers, physician practices, and state and federal governments. Students have also used their HPA studies to prepare for graduate study in health or business administration, health law, medicine and clinical professions, health services research, and public health.
- Typical job titles include physician office manager, pharmaceutical sales representative, assistant nursing home administrator, information systems manager, reimbursement analyst, patient representative, provider relations assistant, health care consulting associate, and marketing associate.
