The Division of Information Systems and Services of the College of Health and Human Development is a service organization available to all Departments, Schools, and Research Centers in our College.  We provide assistance to our faculty, staff and students on any matter related to the information systems and multimedia systems in use in our college.  PCs, Macs and UNIX workstations, their peripherals, and audio and video systems are our specialties.  We apply our combined years of experience with Information Technology to special projects which enhance the instructional capabilities of our talented faculty and staff.

How Our System Operates

We have "Deputies" who are located in each of the 28 units we service. They provide us with information on computing concerns from their faculty, staff and students. The Deputy submits this information to ISS via our ticketing system. Once our PC Service Manager receives the ticket he assigns a technician who then contacts the person in need of help to arrange for a service appointment.

Deputies can also call us directly if there is a possibility the request can be handled over the phone or if it is an emergency.  If your Deputy is out of the office, some areas have a backup Deputy who can assist with the problem. If you cannot locate your backup Deputy you can call ISS directly at 5-INFO (865-4636) and place your request over the phone.
