| College IT Resources: Access Centers
Since 1999, ISS,
using proceeds from the Student Computer Fee, has designed and installed
walk-by computer stations, called Access Centers, for student use. These computer
carrels are located in South Henderson building near the vending
area on the second floor and in the alcoves on the 2nd and 3rd floor of East Health
and Human Development.
All the units are packaged in carrels.
An Access Center is an extension of the computing capability that is
available in an ITS Lab but it's location provides the convenience
offered by walk-by computing. Most buildings are open early and close late
making walk-by access to the Centers convenient. You must have a PSU
Access Account in order to use the Center. These Centers function in an identical
manner to a
computer in an ITS Lab. Presently there are 6 centers in South Henderson and 4 in Health and Human Development East.
Feel free to
take a seat at an Access Center to check email or do some last minute
touch ups to a paper or assignment.
Where To Pick Up Print Jobs
- Print jobs issued from any of the 10 Access Centers in South
or East Henderson can be picked up at the printer
in the ITS Lab in 217 Health and Human Development East.
