| Services: Installation of New Systems Most PCs should be replaced every 3-4 years. This guideline varies a bit based on intended use of the computer. When it comes time to replace your PC, we are available to assist you with the transition. We can help you decide what type of PC you need. We service both Windows PCs and Apple PCs. Disk size, memory requirements, backup devices, displays, etc. - ask us and we will help you decide. We can help with the ordering process from initial pricing through final delivery. When the new system arrives, we will transfer your old files to the new PC and install a suite of network applications. We will also configure the PC to connect to the College's network so you can access PSU resources and the Internet. We will set up printing on the PC and the PC will be entered in the ISS Computer Bank Database (CBDB) so we can track its history and better serve your needs. |
