Outreach: Partnering with the Community to Improve Health
Outreach and Continuing Education Online Courses Available
Build your continuing education résumé with courses by RNs for RNs—log onto Penn State School of Nursing’s online continuing education (CE) portal. These courses are offered continuously for online continuing education.
Access the Penn State School of Nursing Continuing Education Portal.
At completion of a CE course and evaluation, students will recieve a certificate for the appropriate amount of contact hours.
All course materials, quizzes, certificates, and member histories will be available through the site at the click of a mouse. New courses will be added on a regular basis in order to assist Pennsylvania RNs in obtaining their biennial thirty CE hours for the new ACT 58 requirements.
Penn State School of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Outreach at the School of Nursing
Outreach at the School of Nursing is focused on meeting educational and service needs in the community beyond the walls of the School. The School of Nursing is geographically dispersed, and its Outreach program connects with many local communities across Pennsylvania. Outreach includes service-learning projects in the community, credit courses, and programs for professional and continuing education.
Our links with World Campus and International Programs also connect the School with national and international communities.
