Scholarships and Financial Aid

Penn State awards a number of scholarships to undergraduate students each year. There also are grants, loans, and the College Work-Study program for those who qualify. Many scholarships are available exclusively to students in the College of Health and Human Development.

Scholarships and Funding Opportunties

To recognize the accomplishments of our students, the College of Health and Human Development awards over $1,250,000 annually in scholarships and awards. Funds are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, school/community activites, leadership positions, and work experience. Students must be enrolled in the College of Health and Human Development.

Some scholarships and awards require enrollment in a specific major. For more information and to apply, go to the College of Health and Human Development scholarships page or contact Doug Ford (dof1@psu.edu) at 814-863-6790.

Application Required

All continuing HHD students wishing to be considered for scholarships for
2008-2009 must complete a online scholarship application. The deadline for scholarships is April 30, 2008.
