Entrance Requirements
Students seeking admission to the Professional Golf Management option must meet all the University as well as Recreation, Park and Tourism Management program entrance requirements and present evidence of a playing proficiency reflected in a handicap of 12 or lower. Verification of one’s handicap may come from a member of the PGA, a high school golf coach, or a current USGA handicap card.

Freshmen are admitted directly into the Golf Management option, which is offered only at Penn State's University Park campus. Transfer students who have attempted 18 or more college/university credits cannot be considered for the program. Admission to the University Park campus is competitive; therefore, we would encourage you to apply as early as possible.
