- Barbara Shannon Honors Scholarship considers all full-time freshmen enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Health and Human Development who have superior high school academic records and the potential for outstanding academic success.
- College of HHD Academic Achievement Scholarship
- College of HHD Academic Achievement Scholarship provides recognition to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Health and Human Development who have superior academic records or the potential for academic success.
- College of HHD Alumni Board Honors Scholarship
- College of HHD Alumni Board Honors Scholarship considers all prospective full-time entering freshmen enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Health and Human Development who have superior high school academic records or the potential for outstanding academic success.
- College of HHD Student Professional Development Endowment
- HHD Student Professional Development Endowment awards funds to provide assistance for student participation with faculty and alumni in professional meetings and pre-professional activities designed to enhance a student’s opportunities for future success. All undergraduate and graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Health and Human Development are eligible.
- Donald M. and Virginia Miller Cook Scholarship
- Donald M. and Virginia Miller Cook Scholarship considers all full-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Health and Human Development, who have achieved or have the potential for outstanding academic success, have proven financial need, and contribute to the diversity of the student body by virtue of their ethnic, cultural and/or national background.
- Dr. and Mrs. Wayne E. Mason Honors Scholarship
- Dr. and Mrs. Wayne E. Mason Honors Scholarship considers all prospective full-time entering freshmen enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Health and Human Development who have superior high school academic records or the potential for outstanding academic success. First preference is given to students from McKeesport High School, McKeesport, PA. Second preference is given to students from the McKeesport area.
- Drs. Albert and Lorriane Kligman Graduate Fellowship
- Drs. Albert and Lorraine Kligman Graduate Fellowship provides support for tuition and a stipend for education and research projects. All full-time graduate students enrolled in the College of Health and Human Development who have demonstrated academic excellence are eligible.
- Edith Pitt Chace Award
- Edith Pitt Chace Award is given to an outstanding full-time upcoming senior who has completed 94 credits by the fall semester, achieved a grade-point average of 3.0 or better, and has actively assumed positions of leadership and responsibility in a variety of campus or community organizations. - Francis A. and Ruth Coates Wodock Scholarship
- Francis A. and Ruth C. Wodock Scholarship awards full-time undergraduate baccalaureate degree students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Health and Human Development who have achieved or demonstrate the potential for academic and professional success.
- Francis Hoffman Writing Award
- Francis Hoffman Award for Excellence in Writing is available to all undergraduate students currently enrolled in the College of Health and Human Development who demonstrate excellence in writing as determined by the submission of a paper for competitive judging.
- Graduate Student Research Endowment in the College of Health and Human Development
- Graduate Student Research Endowment supports full-time graduate students enrolled in the College of Health and Human Development who are actively engaged in dissertation/thesis related research. Funds shall be used to encourage graduate students to pursue a research methodology of their preference.
- Isabel B. Smith Home Economics Honors Scholarship
- Isabel B. Smith Home Economics Honors Scholarship considers all full-time freshmen enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Health and Human Development who have superior high school academic records or the potential for outstanding academic success.
- Joseph and Concepcion Skellchock Family Scholarship
- Joseph and Concepcion Skellchock Family Scholarship provides funds to full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Health and Human Development who have a grade-point average of 2.5 or higher, have achieved or have the potential for outstanding academic success, and have proven financial need.
- Joseph R. Cardenuto Memorial Award
- Joseph R. Cardenuto Memorial Award is provided to recognize outstanding achievement by State College High School graduates who plan to enroll as freshmen students in the College of Health and Human Development or the College of Education. Students must have the potential for academic success and documented performance of community service. Recipients selected by the Office of Student Aid.

Baird Family Scholarship considers all full-time undergraduate and/or graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Health and Human Development and the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records, have the potential for future academic success, and demonstrate financial need. First preference is given to Pennsylvania residents. Recipients selected by the Office of Student Aid.

- Margaret A. and Stanley P. Mayers Memorial Scholarship is available to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Health and Human Development who demonstrate promise of academic success and have financial need. First preference is given to students who are graduates from Frankford High School, Philadelphia, PA.

Important considerations include an understanding of interdisciplinary connections among fields of study, using skills to benefit the public, and an ability to develop innovative ideas.
