Master of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management

The master of science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management (M.S. HRIM) is a one-and-a-half year program for hospitality professionals wishing to develop a research focus with the intent of continuing a career in an academic or research area.

This master’s degree is not a professional master’s degree; the program is designed to help students develop solid graduate-level research skills focused within a hospitality research area. Course work is largely customized to a student's area of interest and academic and professional background. Students plan concentration area courses as well as thesis research with a thesis committee.
